Actor Shivaleeka Oberoi and her director hubby Abhishek Pathak have officially embraced parenthood, welcoming their first child, a beautiful baby girl, on April 19, 2026. And get this – she chose to make her grand entrance on none other than the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Talk about good timing, yaar!
The couple took to social media to share their joy, and honestly, their announcement was just as elegant as you'd expect. They posted a stunning, gold-toned image – all ornate and regal – declaring, “Our little Goddess Laxmi has arrived on an auspicious day. A blessing in its purest form.” A Goddess Laxmi, indeed! It’s a lovely touch, connecting her arrival to such a significant festival. They also added a sweet note, “In a moment, our hearts found a whole new meaning! With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our precious Baby Girl! 19th April 2026. Blessed parents Shivaleeka & Abhishek.” My heart just melted a little, I'm not gonna lie.

It feels like just yesterday we were gushing over their fairytale wedding, and now, a baby! Shivaleeka and Abhishek's love story, for those who need a quick recap, blossomed on the sets of the 2020 film Khuda Haafiz. They went from professional acquaintances to a full-blown romance, dating for nearly three years before tying the knot in a gorgeous traditional ceremony in Goa on February 9, 2023. Remember all those stunning pictures? Ajay Devgn and Kartik Aaryan were among the big names celebrating with them.
Their pregnancy announcement back in December 2025 was equally adorable and understated. Instead of a big photoshoot, they shared a festive Christmas ornament with the message, “Baby Pathak Arriving 2026.” Simple, sweet, and totally classy. Fans absolutely loved that subtle hint, and it definitely got us all buzzing with excitement for the new arrival.
