Ram Gopal Varma not happy Over Jana Gana Mana Rann song getting Censored
Apparently Ram Gopal Varma is not happy over his song Jana gana Mana Rann getting censored and banned by Censor Board of India. As per RGV, this is violation of his freedom of expression and he is willing to take legal action to get the song again unbanned. As per reports, he has even talked to Arun Jaitley to get the legal assistance.
As per CBFC, the controversial song was based on the national anthem and its lyrics were mixed with lyrics of some other song which is a violation of spirit of the National Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act 1950 and hence the song was censored.
As per Ram Gopal Varma, the promos of Jana Gana Mana Rann songs were censored without giving him any chance to show his view and this is clear violation of his freedom of expression and he has all right to appeal against the ban on the song.
